# Manage Families

This tool enables user to open a library folder in Windows Explorer, where it's content can be updated (add Families, organize folders, etc.). Users can update the library folder path with Settings under Content Admin Kit.

When clicking on the icon Manage families a folder opens. Here you can add folders and families that you would like to use with BIM Content Tool. You can add families in existing folders or add a new folder.

If you add a new folder with all it's necessary content, you will see a new radial menu in BIM content tool. This allows you to quickly access the desired families.

Click on the Content Admin Kit tab > go to Content Administration Kit panel > click on Manage Families
