Structure Editor

Command Description

The "Structure Editor" command is intended for quick editing of structure and connect pipes. You can edit structure name, rim, sump and part family and size. In terms of connected pipes you can edit pipe name, invert, family and size.

To change structure part name, sump, rim, family and size

  1. Click Kobi Toolkit for Civil 3D tab > Pipes panel > Structure Editor

  2. Select structure.

  3. Enter new structure name in the Name field on the top dialogue row.

  4. Pick part family and size from the Parts Size drop down.

  5. Choose sump entry mode by double clicking Sump Elev./ Sump Depth text.

  6. Enter Sump Elev./ Sump Depth.

  7. Enter Rim. Optionally use button to pick elevation from COGO point, point or block reference element.

To change pipe name, invert, family and size

  1. Click Kobi Toolkit for Civil 3D tab > Pipes panel > Structure Editor

  2. Select structure.

  3. In the Pipe name column click in the field and enter new pipe name.

  4. In the Invert column click in the field and enter pipe invert.

  5. In the Pipe Family column click in the field and select pipe family from the drop down.

  6. In the Part Size column click in the field and select pipe size from the drop down.

To navigate to other structure once the dialogue is shown

There are two options to change the structure you are editing:

  1. Use picker to select new structure.

  2. Double click in Next Str. column to automatically jump to next structure.
